Lang Attribute (PAG-WEB-004)

Include correct language <lang> attribute for the page

A proper language attribute notifies the browser of the correct language to render for text content and allows assistive technologies like screen readers to present the text in the correct pronunciation and style. If a site offers user defined language selection, the page's language attribute should update when a new language is selected.

Requirements

Lang Attribute (PAG-WEB-004-01)

The applicable language MUST be defined on every page, inside the html tag. Mobile users should be able to select language from device settings and app should support this choice.
