Enable cardholders to “push” a token from the issuer experience into a destination wallet or merchant
Push provisioning is a generic capability that enables cardholders to “push” a token from the issuer experience into a destination wallet or merchant. However, to enable such “pushing”, issuers have historically needed to contract and integrate with each service separately. Visa Card Enrollment Hub (VCEH) service provides such connections at scale. Token Requesting Card-On-File (COF) merchants and Card-Present (CP) wallets can all opt into the VCEH experience to enable push provisioning at scale.
VCEH Scenario
Emily was just approved for a new credit card. Based on KYC data, the issuer displays custom offers for loading the new card into merchants and wallets. Emily is excited by the offer for one month free with a music subscription service, so she accepts the offer and signs up for the music service. VCEH loads the token into her new account. The issuer then asks Emily if she’d like to load her card into other leading wallets and merchants. Emily does so, loading her new card into a few favorite merchants. Finally, Emily enjoys the music service and gets the discount.
